Membrane Filtration

Are No Clog Membranes Possible?

Most all membranes clog or foul. LCP Tech has developed high quality membranes with surfaces that significantly reduce  fouling. This cutting edge technology opens opportunities for membrane filtration in areas that were not practical for membranes. These membranes are available for testing in a variety of pore sizes for your application.

High Rate - Mass Vapor Recompression - HMVR

Typical Mass Vapor Recompression (MVR) systems recover water from waste streams containing high solids concentration (precipitates, etc.).

*    Traditional Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) involves large heat exchangers with significant capital cost, fouling, equipment maintenance (cleaning), and the solid are still quite "wet" after water recovery.

*    LCP Tech's High Rate Mechanical Vapor Recompression (HMVR) design overcomes these issues: HMVR prevents fouling of heat exchanger surfaces, resulting in a low cost system that can recover more water from waste streams more efficiently than MVR and the solids are "dry".

*    HMVR can be used synergistically with membrane filtration
